The apartment has been completely restored and equipped with soundproof windows and patio doors, all equipped with shutters against sun, heat and noise. Services
Sunny private terrace
A lovely sunny terrace with a lounge sofa, a table with four chairs, sun blinds that can be extended over the entire terrace if desired and attractive lighting. Enjoy your breakfast here or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening.
Two bedrooms
One bedroom has a large double bed (180 x 200cm), the other bedroom has two single beds (90 x 200cm). The beds have a pocket spring mattress and a thick and very comfortable topper. Both bedrooms have air conditioning and new soundproof windows with shutters so you can make it nice and dark and quiet. Furthermore, two bedside tables, a wardrobe with drawers and hangers, sufficient sockets and (clothing) hooks.
Two bathrooms
The two fully equipped bathrooms both have a walk-in shower of 120 x 70 cm, a washbasin with two large drawers, a toilet and an electric towel radiator. In addition to a hairdryer, there are cotton swabs, cotton pads, tissues, hand soap, toilet paper, shower foam and shampoo.
Living room
A tastefully decorated living room with patio doors to the terrace, a comfortable sofa, armchair, flat screen TV, side tables, rug and both mood and reading lighting. A cozy dining area with round table and four dining room chairs. There are sufficient sockets near the dining table, making it very suitable as a workplace with a view of the terrace. Everything completely new and very comfortable.
Fully equipped kitchen
You won't go wrong with this kitchen. There is a dishwasher, induction hob, extractor hood, oven, microwave, large refrigerator with 3 freezer drawers, Tassimo coffee machine, kettle, toaster, hand blender, orange juicer, frying pans, pans, cooking utensils, plates, cutlery, various types of glasses, cups and cups, etc.
Travel guides
There are two Dutch travel guides about Malaga in the apartment that you can use during your stay. You will also receive an extensive information folder from us in advance by email with information about the apartment and our personal tips. This is also printed out in the apartment, so you don't have to print it out yourself.
Clean laundry
During your stay with us you can use the washing machine. We have detergents, an iron and ironing board, an outdoor clothes rack and an indoor clothes rack. This way you don't have to take too much clothing with you when traveling.
WiFi
There is free fast WiFi throughout the apartment, including on the terrace. The fast internet connection makes it ideal for working online.
Building
La Tierra Sur is located in a small-scale apartment complex with a total of 8 homes and is located on the first floor. There is a (small) elevator for 2 people. Our neighbors are Malagueños (residents of Malaga), some of whom have now become friends.
Transfer from the airport
If desired, we can arrange a transfer from the airport for you. This transfer costs 30 euros one way for up to 4 people. Our contact person will contact you about your arrival and you can arrange this transfer through him. This also applies to the return journey.
Private parking space
You can park your small or compact (rental) car for free in our private parking space (2.30 x 4.39 m) in the parking garage below our apartment. From the apartment it is only a 7-minute drive to the highway so you can discover the rest of Andalusia. Please contact us for more information.
Beach
The beach is a ten-minute bike ride (and a 20-minute walk) from the apartment. Because we know that most guests come with a small suitcase, lovely large beach towels are available in the apartment as a courtesy from April to November. We also have a large wicker beach bag, beach mats, a football, a Frisbee, a beach tennis set and a parasol in the apartment that you can take with you to the beach.
Misuse
We have three wonderfully comfortable Batavus city bicycles available in the apartment. These can be rented so you can discover Malaga and its beaches! The bicycles are equipped with sturdy chain locks and a luggage carrier with quick-release straps. Please contact us for more information. Our rental prices are a lot cheaper than the prices of bicycle rental companies in Malaga!
For the little ones
For our smallest guests (0-3 years) we have a camping bed with mattress, pillow and duvet, bed linen and high chair available. There is a surcharge of 20 euros per booking. Good to know that the bed can be placed in the colored bedroom, but that the passage is narrower.
Air conditioning
The entire apartment has air conditioning, and each room can be operated separately. In summer to cool, and in winter to heat.
Flat screen TV
A large selection of films and series available through Amazon Prime. If you have a Netflix account yourself, you can also log in to Netflix on our television with your own details.
stock
Upon arrival there will be a large and small towel ready for each person. In the kitchen kitchen towel, tea towel and dishcloth. There is also oil & vinegar, salt & pepper, sugar, dishwasher tablets, cleaning products and detergents. For the first day there is coffee, tea and water. As a courtesy, lovely large beach towels are ready for you upon arrival from April to November.
And further
There is a hotel safe for passports and other valuables. And although it almost never rains, there are also two folding umbrellas that you can use. There are also games available. There is a carbon monoxide detector, a hand fire extinguisher and a first aid kit.
House rules
Our neighbors are also your neighbors during your holiday. We have a good relationship with them and we would like to keep it that way. So we please ask you: > not to make excessive noise in the hallway or on the terrace; > not to bang the doors and > to keep it as quiet as possible after 10 p.m. > not to smoke. > not to have parties. Is something broken, damaged or lost? Not a problem, but please report it to us immediately so that we can replace or repair it for the next guests.
Late check-in
A surcharge of 15 euros applies for a check between 10 p.m. and 12 a.m. Will you arrive at our apartment after midnight? Then a surcharge of 30 euros applies. You pay this surcharge in cash upon arrival.
Interaction with guests
You will be in contact with Rosina regarding your booking. She will arrange everything for you and provide you with the necessary information in advance. Upon arrival in Malaga you will meet Federico. He will receive you upon arrival and show you around the apartment and is your point of contact during your stay. Federico speaks English and Spanish. If desired, he can arrange matters for a fee, such as picking up groceries before arrival, extra cleaning or change of linen, etc.
