Back to Malaga
After almost 17 months of not being in our beloved Malaga, we finally got on the plane again in May. The PCR test was quickly arranged and with a negative result we boarded the plane wearing a face mask. Traveling wasn't too bad, and... no time we were in our beloved Malaga.
|
How nice it was to have the cielo azul to see and smell the scent of Andalusia. We went to Malaga to get our apartment in tip-top condition again so that we can receive guests again. It is a matter of time before we can start traveling from the Netherlands again. Can't you wait to travel again reader?
|
The Spaniards are now allowed to travel between the provinces again, and fortunately we notice this in the bookings. It's just nice to know that guests regularly stay in our apartment and enjoy spring in Malaga.

When we were there, the Jacaranda trees were in bloom. You saw these beautiful purple blossoms everywhere, including on the Plaza de la Merced, the square where Pablo Picasso's birthplace is located.
|
Naturally, we enjoyed a delicious lunch on the beach or a drink on a sun-drenched terrace between work. And we had a lovely wander through the beautifully restored streets of the historic center. Due to the 10:30 PM curfew that was still in force at the time, we enjoyed a glass of wine on our private terrace. The curfew has now been lifted, because the numbers in Malaga are very good. Spain has already declared Malaga and the Costa del Sol green and it looks like everything will be back to normal in the first half of June.
