Dear reader,

We have just returned from a wonderful sunny summer holiday. When we entered the Netherlands, we were welcomed with a heavy rain shower. And although it is still August, the heater is already on. We haven't even been home for 2 days, but I'm already longing for the sun and warmth of Malaga again!

Do you also long for better weather Rosina? Then I have good news, because we still have a few spots available for the fall. If you are still unsure about whether the weather is really nice, take a look at the averages in Malaga:

- September: 27.9 degrees | sea water 21.9 degrees | 247 hours of sunshine
- October: 23.7 degrees | sea water 20.5 degrees | 213 hours of sunshine
- November: 19.9 degrees | seawater 18.1 degrees | 173 hours of sunshine
- December: 17.4 degrees | seawater 16.5 degrees | 158 hours of sunshine

Lunch on the beach all year round

Pedregalejo
In September, October and often in November, you can relax on a beach bed on one of Malaga's beaches. Swimming is also good, because the water has been able to warm up all summer. In any case, you can enjoy a fresh (fish) lunch on the beach almost all year round. Both in Malaga and in the neighboring fishing villages of Pedregalejo and El Palo, you can go on the boulevard or at one of the chiringuitos (beach bars) delicious food. A charcoal fire is made on small boats and the fish are put on skewers and placed diagonally against the smoldering coals. The fish was caught the night before by local fishermen. You can't get it fresher than this!
All beach tents and chiringuitos all have terraces outside and when the sun shines, it is lovely to sit there, even in the winter months. Bring your sunscreen!

And as an extra bonus, from the end of November to the beginning of January, the whole of Malaga is covered in beautiful Christmas lights, creating a fairytale experience. Light shows are given in Calle Larios. These are very popular and people from Malaga and the surrounding area like to come and watch them.
