Spain rises again Yellow!

We had to wait a long time for it, but finally the time had come on July 27; the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that travel to Spain is possible again. After such a long time we can get on the plane again without any worries and enjoy beautiful Malaga. The Malagueños welcome travelers again with open arms; they missed you too!

You don't have to give up on the Covid-19 measures in Spain either; the face mask is no longer mandatory if distance can be maintained. You are only expected to wear a face mask when you go inside. Think of a museum, shop, public transport or restaurant. As soon as you are seated in the restaurant, you can remove your face mask. Would you like to know more about traveling to Spain and Covid-19 measures? Check this link from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Here you will always find the most recent information.

Relax on your own private terrace

As promised, in this newsletter I would take you to the best roof terraces in Malaga. Before I tell you which ones they are, I'll let you dream away for a moment with a photo of our own terrace. This cozy terrace is a wonderfully peaceful oasis in the middle of the city. A perfect place to drink a cup of coffee or tea in the morning or have breakfast. And after a day of strolling through the city or relaxing on the beach, it is wonderful to relax here while enjoying a glass of wine or soft drink. With an inviting lounge sofa, four chairs and a table, there is always a place where you can muse about the beautiful things you saw that day. Do you like the sun? Or not? Choose sun or shade with our horizontal sun blinds. When it is dark in the evening, the sun blinds and mood lighting make it super romantic!

Roof terraces in Malaga

In addition to the terrace of AC Marriot that I wrote about last time, the terrace of the Room Mate Valeria Hotel also has fantastic views over both the modern marina and the working harbor of Malaga. Lying close to the coast, you can smell the wonderful fresh sea breeze on this terrace. In addition to having both high and low tables and chairs, there are also lounge beds where you can enjoy your cocktail like a true diva ;-). Here too you can choose from a wide selection of wines, beers and cocktails.

La Terraza de San Juan is located right next to the church of the same name and from the terrace you can almost touch the church tower. It is located in the middle of the historic center and after working hours you will find many locals here who end the day together. Sit at the bar that runs along the balustrade or on one of the lounge sofas and look over the authentic roofs of Malaga. My favorite cocktail here is the Amaretto Sour.

You will find another completely different roof terrace on Malaga's main shopping street. From here you have fantastic views of both La Manquita (the one-armed cathedral) and one of Malaga's main squares. Plaza de la Constitution. Especially at sunset and in the evening you can see how beautifully everything is illuminated.
