Feel at home! This is our newest apartment in the heart of Malaga. Located in a charming building dating back to 1936, it's recently fully renovated, offering all the modern conveniences you'd expect for a comfortable stay. The cozy and brand-new decor will make you feel right at home. Everything you need is provided, allowing you to completely unwind. The high ceilings and original shutters give the apartment a unique ambiance. Just a 7-minute walk from the historic center, it's an excellent base for exploring the city. Services
Sunny private terrace
A lovely sunny terrace with a lounge set and atmospheric lighting. Enjoy breakfast here or a glass of wine in the evening. There's a retractable awning, so it's a lovely place to relax even on warm days.
Two bedrooms
One bedroom has a large double bed (180 x 200cm), while the other has two single beds (90 x 200cm). The beds have a pocket-sprung mattress and a thick, very comfortable topper. Both bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and shuttered windows for a pleasantly dark atmosphere, along with new, soundproof windows. Each bedroom has two bedside tables, ample electrical outlets, hooks (for clothes), and a two-way switch. Each bedroom has a wardrobe with ample hanging space, shelves, and hangers.
Two bathrooms
The two fully equipped bathrooms each have a spacious walk-in (rain) shower and a vanity with large drawers. One bathroom has a toilet, while the other bathroom has a separate toilet. In addition to a hairdryer, cotton swabs, cotton pads, tissues, hand soap, toilet paper, shower gel, and shampoo are provided.
Living room
A tastefully furnished living room with tall windows, original shutters, and a high ceiling. It also features a comfortable sofa, two armchairs, a flat-screen TV, side tables, a rug, an antique cabinet, and mood lighting. A cozy dining area with an oval table and four dining chairs. Plenty of power outlets are located near the dining table, making it ideal for a workspace. Everything is brand new and very comfortable.
Fully equipped kitchen
You won't go wrong in this kitchen. It's equipped with a dishwasher, induction hob, extractor hood, oven, microwave, large fridge with 3 freezer drawers, Bosch Tassimo coffee machine, kettle, toaster, hand blender, juicer, frying pans, pots and pans, cookware, plates, cutlery, various glasses, cups, and mugs, etc.
Filtered water
The kitchen has a separate tap with filtered drinking water. Lugging bottles of spring water is a thing of the past!
Travel guides
The apartment includes a Dutch and English travel guide about Malaga for you to use during your stay. You'll also receive a comprehensive information folder from us by email beforehand, containing details about the apartment and our personal tips. This folder is also printed out in the apartment, so you don't need to print it yourself.
Clean laundry
During your stay, you can use the washing machine. We provide detergent, an iron and ironing board, and a drying rack. This way, you don't have to bring too many clothes. The washing machine has a built-in dryer in case you can't dry your laundry on the terrace.
WiFi
Free, super-fast Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartment, including the terrace. The fast internet connection makes it ideal for working online.
Building
La Tierra Sur is located in a small apartment complex dating back to 1938. It consists of two floors with a total of seven apartments. It is located on the first floor. The entrance is accessible via the shared patio.
Beach
The beach is a ten-minute bike ride (or a 20-minute walk) from the apartment. Because we know most guests travel with small suitcases, we provide large beach towels in the apartment from April to November. We also have a large wicker beach bag, beach mats, a beach tennis set, and a parasol in the apartment that you can take with you to the beach.
For the little ones
For our youngest guests (ages 0-2), we have a travel cot with a mattress, pillow, duvet, bed linen, and a high chair available. There's a surcharge of €20 per booking. It's good to know that the cot can be placed in the front bedroom, but the passageway will be narrower.
Air conditioning
The entire apartment is air-conditioned, and each room can be controlled independently. It cools in the summer and heats in the winter. There are also ceiling fans in the bedrooms.
Flat screen TV
A large selection of films and series available through Amazon Prime. If you have a Netflix account yourself, you can also log in to Netflix on our television with your own details.

Upon arrival, you'll find a large and small towel for each person. The kitchen also includes a kitchen towel, tea towel, and dishcloth. Oil and vinegar, salt and pepper, sugar, dishwasher tablets, cleaning products, and laundry detergent are also provided. Coffee and tea are provided for the first day. From April to November, large beach towels are provided as a courtesy upon arrival.
And further
The antique cabinet contains several games for your use. And although it almost never rains, there are also two folding umbrellas for your use. There are smoke detectors, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit.
House rules
Our neighbors are also your neighbors during your vacation. We have a good relationship with them and we'd like to keep it that way. So we ask you to: > not make excessive noise on the patio or terrace; > not slam doors; > keep it as quiet as possible after 10:00 PM; > not smoke (only allowed on the terrace); > not have parties. If something breaks, gets damaged, or gets lost, don't worry, but please let us know immediately so we can replace or repair it for the next guests.
Late check-in
A surcharge of €15 applies for check-ins between 10:00 PM and midnight. If you arrive at our apartment after midnight, a surcharge of €30 applies. This surcharge must be paid in cash upon arrival.
Transfer from the airport
If you wish, we can arrange a transfer from the airport for you. This transfer costs €30 one way for up to four people. Our contact person will contact you about your arrival, and you can arrange this transfer through them. This also applies to the return trip.
Interaction with guests
Rosina is there to assist you with your booking. She ensures everything is arranged and provides you with all the necessary information beforehand. Upon arrival in Malaga, you'll meet Federico, who will warmly welcome you, show you around the apartment, and serve as your point of contact throughout your stay. Federico speaks English and Spanish. Upon request, he can arrange additional services for a small fee, such as pre-arrival grocery shopping, extra cleaning, or linen changes, so you can make the most of your stay.
